I offer writing consulting services for clinicians, clinicians-in-training, and medical professionals. In an increasingly competitive marketplace, the ability to effectively communicate and market one's services is critical. However, many professionals in the helping fields have received very little training in communication skills and strategies.

To support myself through graduate school, I worked as both a writing consultant and a public relations specialist for a number of years. Before going into psychology, I was an award-winning journalist. I truly enjoy teaching others how to improve their written skills, particularly those who are struggling to find their professional "voice" and identity.

If you are interested in publishing some of your work, but are unsure of how to best present your scholarship to journal editors, book editors, and/or conference reviewers, or if you would just like to improve the quality of writing within your practice (for example, marketing materials, assessment reports, etc.), I can provide you with help. I offer a free diagnostic session and thereafter my consulting fee is negotiable, dependent upon the time required to help you complete your project.
