Assessment

I have extensive assessment experience and have taught personality assessment at two universities. Assessment is an invaluable therapeutic tool that can assist in the process of determining:

• a client's readiness for therapy and capacity for insight
• diagnosis and case conceptualization
• treatment planning
• quality of object relations/attachment
• cognitive style and creativity
• ego functioning and defenses
• presence of depression or coping deficits
• presence of early trauma
